CIBC Soccer Fests have supported community soccer activity for more than two decades and reached over four million Canadians through the delivery of financial grants and promotional and technical resources to clubs from coast to coast to coast. Since its’ inception, the program has distributed over one million dollars directly to community clubs across the country.

“The CIBC Soccer Fests program provides a welcoming, fun, and developmentally appropriate environment for young players to experience the game of soccer,” said Jason deVos Canada Soccer’s Director of Development. “Kids who have free play opportunities to experience the joy of the game are those most likely to develop a lifelong love of the sport.”

In addition to the financial and programming support provided to all festival hosts, the program’s corporate partners enhance the festival events through the provision of giveaways, facilitation of appearances by Canada Soccer National Team athletes in select markets, and the implementation of unique technical programming at select festivals. Canada Soccer in collaboration with its corporate partners will be announcing further developments to the program later in the year.
