    "body": "<p>Canada Soccer&rsquo;s Canadian Championship Semi-Final Round kicks off 27 October in Hamilton, Ontario as Forge FC host CF Montr&eacute;al for a chance in the 2021 Canadian Championship Final. Toronto FC host Pacific FC in the second Semi-Final scheduled for 3 November at Toronto&rsquo;s BMO Field. The race to the 2021 Canadian Championship Final and<br>\u200bVoyageurs Cup trophy resumed in Hamilton when Forge FC defeated fellow CPL club<br>\u200bValour FC 2:1 to open the round on 15 September. HFX Wanderers FC fell to two<br>\u200blate goals by CF Montr&eacute;al in a 1:3 loss in Halifax. Toronto FC posted a 4:0<br>\u200bvictory to move past CPL&rsquo;s York United FC at BMO Field in Toronto, and Pacific<br>\u200bFC moved into their first Canadian Championship Semi-Final defeating Cavalry FC<br>\u200b0:1 away at Spruce Meadows in Calgary to cap off a 22 September Quarter-Final<br>\u200bRound tripleheader.</p><p>The 2021 Canadian Championship Preliminary Round opened with<br>\u200ban all-Alberta affair that saw Cavalry FC defeat Al Classico rivals FC Edmonton<br>\u200b2:0 at Edmonton&rsquo;s Clarke Stadium on 15 August. Premi&egrave;re ligue de soccer du<br>\u200bQu&eacute;bec champions AS Blainville travelled to Halifax, NS to face HFX Wanderers<br>\u200bFC at Wanderers Grounds on 17 August coming up just short in a 2:1 loss.&nbsp;<br>\u200bLeague1 Ontario Champions Master&rsquo;s Futbol Academy fell 5:0 to York United FC at<br>\u200bYork Lions Stadium in North York, ON in the first of two Canadian Championship<br>\u200bmatches on 21 August with hosts Atletico Ottawa falling 3:2 to Valour FC in the<br>\u200bsecond match at Ottawa&rsquo;s TD Place.
