Canada Soccer’s Canadian Championship Semi-Final Round kicks off 27 October in Hamilton, Ontario as Forge FC host CF Montréal for a chance in the 2021 Canadian Championship Final. Toronto FC host Pacific FC in the second Semi-Final scheduled for 3 November at Toronto’s BMO Field. Both matches will air live and exclusively on OneSoccer, available as a linear channel on Telus’s Optik TV (Channel 980) as well as online at OneSoccer.ca, through the OneSoccer app and on the fuboTV Canada platform.

Major League Soccer’s CF Montréal and Toronto FC, as well as
\u200bthe Canadian Premier League’s Forge FC entered the competition in the
\u200bQuarter-Final Round. The race to the 2021 Canadian Championship Final and
\u200bVoyageurs Cup trophy resumed in Hamilton when Forge FC defeated fellow CPL club
\u200bValour FC 2:1 to open the round on 15 September. HFX Wanderers FC fell to two
\u200blate goals by CF Montréal in a 1:3 loss in Halifax. Toronto FC posted a 4:0
\u200bvictory to move past CPL’s York United FC at BMO Field in Toronto, and Pacific
\u200bFC moved into their first Canadian Championship Semi-Final defeating Cavalry FC
\u200b0:1 away at Spruce Meadows in Calgary to cap off a 22 September Quarter-Final
\u200bRound tripleheader.
The 2021 Canadian Championship Preliminary Round opened with
\u200ban all-Alberta affair that saw Cavalry FC defeat Al Classico rivals FC Edmonton
\u200b2:0 at Edmonton’s Clarke Stadium on 15 August. Première ligue de soccer du
\u200bQuébec champions AS Blainville travelled to Halifax, NS to face HFX Wanderers
\u200bFC at Wanderers Grounds on 17 August coming up just short in a 2:1 loss.
\u200bLeague1 Ontario Champions Master’s Futbol Academy fell 5:0 to York United FC at
\u200bYork Lions Stadium in North York, ON in the first of two Canadian Championship
\u200bmatches on 21 August with hosts Atletico Ottawa falling 3:2 to Valour FC in the
\u200bsecond match at Ottawa’s TD Place. In the final match of the Preliminary Round,
\u200bPacific FC defeated the Vancouver Whitecaps FC 4:3 at Starlight Stadium in
\u200bLangford, BC on 27 August.
The Canadian Championship is the highest domestic club
\u200bcompetition and leads to a direct entry into the 2022 Scotiabank Concacaf
\u200bChampions League with an opportunity to play in the 2022 FIFA Club World Cup.
\u200bThe current champions are CF Montréal who won the 2019 Canadian Championship.
