The fourth phase of ticket sales for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ is underway at FIFA.com. Fans can purchase tickets to the world’s biggest tournament in this fourth sales phase from 9 February to 7 April.



During this phase, applications can be made via the FIFA website (FIFA.com) or at First National Bank (FNB) branches. This fourth phase will run for 58 days through 7 April and will be available on a “first come, first served, subject to availability basis. All ticketing enquiries should be directed to fifa.com where fans will find an extensive list of frequently asked questions. Fans can also ask specific questions via enquiries@2010fwctc.com.



Already, more than two millions tickets have been sold to the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™. Tickets have been requested from 192 countries by the general public. Canada is the highest ticket purchaser of all non-participating member associations. After host South Africa, United States is the second-highest purchaser of South Africa™ 2010 tickets.



Football fans can also purchase authorised travel packages through participating tour operators appointed by FIFA through MATCH Event Services Pty Limited (see http://www.fifa.com/touroperator).



The 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ runs 11 June to 11 July 2010. There will be 64 matches in 10 venues located in nine host cities. There will be approximately three million tickets for purchase to the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™.
